Virtue Epistemology

The works cited are at the end.
On the internalism/ externalism slide, there is a mistake. "Standard" and "Non-standard" should be switched.
I have some notes that go with the presentation but don't show up here. Email me if you want them.

Ah, Brandon, good to see you remain active in the blogosphere. I apologize for being out of the loop with most other blogs, including yours, for the past X months. I've had the "landing visa blues" since I came back to Taiwan and, well, you know how it is: sometimes life actually gets in the way of our attempts to avoid living it. I've pretty much fallen off the Facebook map (though I can't really say I feel lost or nefarious therefore).

I want to apologize sincerely once more for my botching your request for me to get in touch with Fr. Jaki about a reference letter. It looks like I myself may not even get such a prize: he needs your prayers, as he has been hospitalized in Spain after a prolonged heart attack whilst lecturing in Rome. He is a fighter as ever, but is also 85 and is also battling a lung infection. I visited him in Princeton last semester when I was home for a furlough. A real privilege to meet such a mentor. (He did rowing in high school just as I did!) He had agreed to write my reference letter for my app to a Catholic univ. in Taipei, but, well, then Providence continued to "write straight with crooked lines" (one of Fr. Jaki's personal mottoes).

In any case, I hope you have been able to follow the "happenings" at my blog. If not, I'll just say I've picked up an atheist sparring partner (who did manage to shake his troll status in my eyes!) and it has produced much good fruit in my own grasp and presentation of ArisThomistic metaphysics. I think you would find much of it interesting, if you combed back through the archives since, say, January.

What are you up to these days?

In Christ,
